Meet Lynn Sherman

Princeton Chiropractor

I have always been interested in health, wellness, and nutrition. Learning about the latest wellness information and staying on top of the newest eating trends is my passion.. I could tell you how many calories and fat were contained in most pre-packaged foods. I went on my first diet when I was 12 years old, and I had been dieting ever since!  I have tried everything from Atkins to the Zone, but a day would never really go by without me thinking about food.  Then I discovered the Institute for Integrative Nutrition, and that’s when everything changed.  At the Institute for Integrative Nutrition I learned about bio-individuality, and about designing programs, and helping clients create a more balanced lifestyle.  I work with clients, groups and corporations creating individualized wellness programs that help people reduce stress, and find increased vitality- so they have the energy to do what they love, and eat so that they can age well.  I take a very whole person approach to Nutrition and Lifestyle, looking at all areas of life not just the food they are eating. My ideal client is interested in looking at where they are, setting goals, and working together with me to create a wellness plan that fits into their busy lifestyle.  Most clients want to lose some weight, be more active, and reduce their daily stress. Health Coaching is a unique, exciting innovation in health and nutrition. As a Health Coach I have studied all the major dietary theories and will help you discover what approach works best for you at this point in your life. While most dietitians dwell on calories, carbohydrates, fats, proteins, restrictions and lists of good and bad foods, I work with my clients to create a happy, healthy life in a way that is flexible, fun and free of denial and discipline.

No one diet works for everyone. I will guide you to find the food and lifestyle choices that best support you. I will also help you  make gradual, lifelong changes that enable you to reach your current and future health goals.

I practice a holistic approach to nutrition, which means that I look at how all areas of your life are connected. Does stress at your job or in your relationship cause you to overeat? Does lack of sleep or low energy prevent you from exercising? As we work together, we look at how all parts of your life affect the whole.

Dr. Wayne Asks some important questions of interest to Highland Park residents - Chiropractor Highland Park Dr. Wayne Asks...

Can chiropractic relieve PMS?
If you have subluxations, especially in the lower spine that impair nerves that direct and monitor the reproductive and hormonal systems, chiropractic could be helpful. Undetected subluxations may also be responsible for pelvic pain, incontinence, sexual dysfunction and even infertility. Maybe chiropractic can help. Find out!
How does headache medication find the headache?
It can't! Chiropractors know that when you ingest a drug and it enters your bloodstream it numbs or deadens your entire body. Chiropractic adjustments, on the other hand, are specific, targeted and delivered with precision.
