Introducing Highland Park Chiropractor Dr. Wayne Rebarber

Highland Park, New Jersey chiropractor, Dr. Wayne Rebarber

I was in college, exercising on a trampoline, when I did a flip and landed wrong. I heard a "snap" in my back and from that moment on, I experienced excruciating pain in my back and legs. The school physician prescribed pain pills and muscle relaxers.

Four weeks later, I was still in a lot of pain and unable to sit for any period of time. That’s when I caught an on-campus lecture by chiropractor, Dr. David Coonrad.

I was skeptical about chiropractic, but everything I heard made sense. When I spoke to Dr. Dave after the lecture, I told him about the accident and the pain I was still experiencing. He asked me to come to his office to see if he could help me. Since nothing else was working, I figured I’d give it a try.

It took some time for my body to heal completely, but I was back to my old self in a few weeks. In fact, I was feeling better than I did before the accident. It was then that I decided to be a chiropractor. I wanted to help people like Dr. Dave helped me.

I attended Logan College of Chiropractic in St. Louis, Mo and was surprised to find that the education I received there was almost the same as that of a medical doctor. I was drawn to the anatomy lab for dissection and was amazed at the complexity of the human body and its intricate detail.

Since I’m always looking for better ways to help facilitate healing, I attend post-graduate courses several times a year to keep updated on the latest changes in natural healing.

The body is programmed to be healthy, vital and filled with energy. I believe that we are spiritual beings living in human bodies and I know that when we are faced with a health challenge, we are disconnected from our natural internal healing. I like to figure out the cause of a particular health challenge, rather than just removing symptoms. This may include recommending nutritional support, proper foot balance, a change in a limiting belief, proper movement of the body, and proper rest and hydration.

In addition to helping others create wellness, I want my own body to function at its optimum level of health and well being. I still get my nervous system checked weekly, and I have since getting into chiropractic over 25 years ago. I also love to eat great food and luckily, my wife, Rachelle, is an awesome cook. We eat organic fruits and vegetables whenever possible, as well as free-range chicken, and meats that are not fed antibiotics or hormones, and we drink lots of pure water.

I love to work with people who want to actively participate in improving their health and the health of their families. I look forward to meeting with you in person to find out how we may be of service to you. Give us a call or email me using the link below to arrange a time to explore your options. I would love to help you meet your health goals.

Is chiropractic safe?
What do you consider safe? Chiropractic care is safer than driving your car on the streets of Highland Park, getting back surgery, taking aspirin and even safer than taking a shower in your own home! Compared with things we accept as safe, chiropractic care is even safer. Ready to get started? Call our office today.
How do most people deal with subluxations?
First, they try to ignore them. When they don't, they go to the medicine cabinet to stop their brain from feeling the symptom. Later, back surgery may be threatened. Sadly, it's not until this later stage that they consult our Highland Park chiropractic office. Yet, even with the delay, most are delighted by the results produced by today's chiropractic care. Contact us and let's get started.
